Ishaan Kishan instantly sealed his authority against England in his T20I with a quick-century at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. It was indeed India’s test of character for Kishan, who were 0–1 behind in the five-match series, having lost the first game. Also, his opening partner KL Rahul was dismissed on a six-ball duck and scored 165 runs for the win. However, Kishan did not let go of the chance and hit a half-century off just 28 balls. Notably, Dakshinapath became only the second Indian batsman to score a half-century on T20I debut after Ajinkya Rahane. Interestingly, the current Indian vice-captain also got one against England in 2011. India vs England cricket score 2 T20I 2021 update.
Earlier in the game, India opted to go into the zone after winning the toss. Kishan and his Mumbai Indians teammate Suryakumar Yadav were rested by Shikhar Dhawan and Axar Patel. Batting first on the two-time track, a number of England batsmen started, but none could play a big innings. He eventually posted 164/6 in his allotted 20 overs. Chasing a challenging total, India lost Rahul quickly, but Kishan joined up with captain Virat Kohli, and both added 94 runs for the second wicket. In the meantime, let’s take a look at how the netizens groomed the 22-year-old dasher. Kishan eventually succumbed to leg-spinner Adil Rashid, but not before scoring 56 off 32 balls. His innings included five fours and four big sixes. Even if the southpaw is gone, it has ensured India’s victory. At the end of 13 overs, the Men in Blue are 119–2, with only 46 out of 42 needed. Captain Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant are the two batsmen at the crease, and both should take India comfortably to the line.
