Bengaluru, March 18: In its biggest marketing push, digital payment platform PhonePe said on Thursday that it had taken six separate sponsorships for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
PhonePe said that the focus of marketing activities would be primarily on expanding the user base from 280 million at present to 500 million by December 2022 and would be a priority priority for PhonePe.

PhonePe is the official co-presenting sponsor for the IPL 2021 television broadcast on the Star Sports Network.
It is also an associate sponsor for the digital broadcast of the IPL on Disney + Hotstar.
Additionally, this time PhonePe is also sponsoring 4 IPL franchises – Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capital.
This is the third year in a row that PhonePe is co-sponsoring IPL as the league remains the largest sports competition in India, providing considerable national reach to its advertising partners.
This year, however, PhonePe’s IPL campaign will run equally aggressively across multiple platforms, including TV, digital and social media platforms.
