Bruno Fernandes hopes to become a coach to manage Manchester United in future

Bruno Fernandes once hung up his shoes before going into coaching. The Portuguese midfielder has also revealed that he intends to become Manchester United’s coach at some stage in the future. The 26-year-old Fernandes has changed the atmosphere at Old Trafford since his arrival at the club in January last year. United are currently second in the Premier League table and are also in the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League 2020-21 where they are set to play as AS Roma. Fernandes has become United’s major builder and wants to lead the club to a number of titles in the coming years, beginning with the Europa League title this season. Eric Bailey signs new contract with Manchester United, stays at Old Trafford until 2024.

But Fernandes already has his sights on the future and wants to increase his traffic to a managerial capacity at Old Trafford when his playing days are over. Asked which club he would like to manage if he becomes a future coach during a Q&A session with fans, Fernandes replied that he wanted to become a coach. “I don’t know which team I want to manage. Of course, the biggest team if I can manage Manchester United, I would be happy. I can leave just a few words now, if people see it I am a manager. In the future, fans can put some pressure on me to bring me on as a coach! “Said Fernandes.

“But I think I would like to be a coach in the future. I’m not sure but for what I’m feeling for football, for the feeling that I have, I think I’ll have to stay inside football because My whole life is about it. So I think, in the future it needs to be with football too. ”

Fernandes also feels that United can challenge for the next season of the Premier League. The team has improved a lot since Ole Gunnar Solaskar came in as coach and is only getting better. “I think the team has improved a lot, to be honest,” he said. He said, ‘I feel improving but I think the team is improving since the coach [Ole Gunnar Solskjaer] reached. He is trying to put his hand in the team and make it better and better.

He will hope to give United an advantage in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League 2020-21 when AS Roma visit Old Trafford on Sunday. United are set to host Roma in the first leg of the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday and Liverpool on Sunday in their next Premier League match.
