Panthers’ DJ Moore played peacemaker for two arguing fans

Potential fisticuffs were averted thanks to a Panthers wideout.

At the team’s fan fest earlier this week, fans jawed at one another in the stands. Thankfully, DJ Moore was there to step into action.

Moore climbed up the steps of Bank of America Stadium and diffused the situation, telling both men to be cool.

Fans around the situation cheered on the wide receiver.

Moore and the Panthers are entering the season in an interesting spot. Star running back Christian McCaffrey is fully healthy, and there is a quarterback battle between Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold.

Last year, Moore caught 93 balls for 1,157 yards and four touchdowns, as the Panthers finished last place in the NFC South with a 5-12 record.

This season, the Buccaneers are heavy favorites to win the division. However, the Panthers could find themselves in a position to compete for the division considering the rash of injuries suffered by Tampa. Elsewhere, the Saints have a new head coach in Dennis Allen after Sean Payton’s long, successful tenure. The Falcons, meanwhile, are in rebuilding mode after trading Matt Ryan to the Colts.
