Grammy-winning singer, Burna Boy has dusted the likes of Beyonce, Drake and others to clinch the ‘Best International Act’ at the just concluded 2022 MOBO Awards.
Also in the category were Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar and Summer Walker Jazmine Sullivan, Skilibeng, Jack Harlow and Tems.
‘Odowgu’ also secured the “Best African Act”, beating Asake, Rema, Fireboy and Omah Lay.

This brings the “Last Last” crooner’s MOBO Awards wins to a total of three following his 2021 win as the ‘Best International Act’.
Expressing appreciation to the organisers of the awards, Burna Boy apologised for his unavoidable absence as a result of a show.
He said: “Thank you so much @MOBOAwards for the Two Awards!!! Best International Act 2022 & Best African Music Act 2022 sorry I couldn’t be there. Truly Grateful. Thank you to all my fans and those that voted #LOVEDAMINI.”
