Premier League clubs spent a record £815m in the January transfer window to complete a season of unprecedented investment, with Chelsea grabbing all the major headlines during the window, emerging as the busiest and biggest spenders in the window.
The Blues rounded up the market as the biggest spenders, spending £296.3m, while signing 8 players including a record Premier League fee of £106.8m for Enzo Fernandez from Benfica.
Unlike Chelsea, relegation-threatened Everton had a window to forget, as the Toffees failed to make a single signing to bolster their survival chances.
