Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi has revealed that eating fufu and inheriting genetics from his father is responsible for his blistering speed.
Sporting Tribune reports that Adeyemi made the disclosure in a post-match interview after he scored the lone goal as Dortmund edged Chelsea 1-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash on Tuesday night.

The interviewer asked, “Karim tell me what you eat because I want to be as fast as you.”
“I eat a lot of African food, and I have good genetics from my dad.”
Asked the name of the African food, he replied by saying, “it’s called fufu”.
