I have no competition, says Femilin

A budding singer, Oluwasfemisayo Fayehun, aka Femilin, has said he does not consider any other artiste to be his competitor.

He told Saturday Beats, “I don’t compete with anyone. I know who I am, and I have a lot to offer.

“Also, I love surpassing my old records. I always want my next song to be better and bigger than the last one. I constantly try to be a better version of myself. I believe in always pushing myself and not resting on my oars.

“I feel blessed having good people around me. I know there is a lot of work to be done, and I am ready for that. My vision is to work as hard and smart as possible to take the afro sound from where it is now to the next level.”

The singer also maintained that this was the best time to be an afrobeats artiste. He said, “I always tell the people around me that this is a great time to be an African artiste, because the afro sound is moving very fast across the globe.”

Speaking on his current projects, the singer said, “I am always in the studio with my team, working to bring out good music for my beautiful fans.

“I will be releasing a couple of singles soon, after which I will put out an Extended Play album later in the year.”
