Kochure customers get loyalty rewards at anniversary

Nigeria’s indigenous cryptocurrency exchange company has presented customers with loyalty rewards in commemoration of its first year anniversary.

Justifying the need for the customer rewards, Pedro Obi, its Chief Executive said it is the company’s modest way of appreciating its loyal customers thus far.

Upbeat, Obi said, it is hard to believe that it has already been a year since they launched Kochure. “We are proud to say that we have come a long way since then. As a startup, we’ve had to overcome some big challenges, but at the same time, it has been an incredible year, and we have learned so much about Kochure, how to improve the platform, our users, our team, and the startup terrain itself. Of course, we have grown too,” adding that the reward is a gesture of appreciation. “We want to thank our users and partners for supporting us through this journey. You have helped make this possible. We also want to thank our phenomenal team, who have worked so hard since day one to make Kochure what it is today—they are the best!”

Pressed further, he recalled that when they set up shop their vision was to be an easy-to-use platform that would give everyone access to the best cryptocurrency market in Africa.

Thankfully, he said, “Today, that vision is becoming a reality. Since we launched over a year ago, we have on boarded over 10, 000 users and processed over $10m worth of crypto, and this is just the beginning. We cannot wait to see what the next year has in store.”

Apart from growing the business in the past one year judging by their large clientele, the firm has engaged in a number of CSR projects.

Shedding light on the CSR activities of the company, Obi recalled that the company was moved by compassion following the recent floods which ravaged and disrupted the livelihoods of some Nigerian communities, displacing families across the country.

Specifically, the company joined forces with the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) on humanitarian intervention as they reached out to victims of the flood disaster that has left millions of Nigerians without a roof over their heads.

“I want to advise all the governments of the frontline states to move away communities at risk of inundation, identify safe higher grounds for evacuation of persons, and preposition adequate stockpiles of food and non-food items.”
