Lionel Messi is definitely moving away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, and his father Jorge is scheduled to meet with the owner of MLS franchise Inter Miami, Jorge Mas, over a possible move for the Argentine star.
According to journalist Gianluca di Marzio, Messi is set to leave PSG in the summer after making an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia.
Messi planned the trip, assuming he would have no problems since PSG usually leaves players free after matches on Monday. However, as Messi was leaving, coach Christophe Galtier surprisingly canceled the rest day, making it impossible for the player to participate in the training session, causing the trip to be postponed for the third time.

Jorge tried to establish a dialogue with PSG owners, but it didn’t prove effective, and Messi left for Saudi Arabia, resulting in his suspension with the club upon his return.
Another option for Messi is a return to Barcelona, although it seems complicated due to their financial situation, and Saudi-based club Al Hilal is reportedly the favourite for his signature, offering €400 million per season and €100 million to €200 million in sponsorships. Although a move to Miami is complicated, Inter Miami is not giving up and will continue trying despite Al Hilal’s towering offer.
Jorge’s meeting with Inter Miami’s owner could be critical in deciding Messi’s future, but it remains to be seen if a move to the MLS side is feasible.
