Jamie Foxx suffered stroke, says Mike Tyson

Former professional boxer Mike Tyson has claimed actor Jamie Foxx suffered a stroke before he was rushed to the hospital last month.

Recall the Oscar-winning actor was rushed to hospital following a “medical complication” he suffered while filming his upcoming Netflix movie, Back in Action.

Fox was set to portray Mike in the boxing legend’s upcoming biographical TV series.

Tyson, while speaking during the latest episode of the Valuetainment podcast spoke on what will happen with the show following Jamie’s health struggles.

In his words; “Well, it was a possibility. I don’t know what’s going to happen now. But, you know, it’s a strong possibility.”

The boxing legend also suggested a reason why not so many updates have been given on Jamie’s condition.

“If we don’t know by now, they don’t want us to know,” he said.

Tyson, Jamie, Martin Scorsese, and Antoine Fuqua are the new executive producers for the show.

Jamie reportedly arrived at a physical rehabilitation facility in Chicago in late April, after initial treatment in an Atlanta hospital.

A source who spoke with TMZ said that the actor is now “recovering well”.

Corinne the actor’s daughter announced that her father had left the hospital, writing on Instagram; ‘My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks recuperating.

“In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support,” Corinne added. “We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”
