Footballer Benik Afobe reported that jewellery worth £400,000 was stolen from his mother’s residence.
The incident occurred on Wednesday in Elstree, Hertfordshire. Afobe, aged 30, formerly played for Wolves, Bournemouth, Stoke, and Millwall, but currently plays for Hatta in the United Arab Emirates.
He took to social media to share details of the theft. Hertfordshire Police acknowledged the report and stated that they are investigating the theft of several jewelry items.

The authorities confirmed that the incident transpired in Elstree and stated that their inquiries are ongoing. Afobe began his career at Arsenal and had loan spells at various clubs, including Huddersfield, Bolton, and MK Dons, before eventually joining Wolves.
Additionally, he represented England at youth levels, including the under-21s, and played internationally for DR Congo.
