The signing of the No.7 has turned the attention of thousands of fans to the Arabian outfit, as evidenced by the fact that when Al Nassr announced the signing of Cristiano, the number of followers on his Instagram account skyrocketed.

Ronaldo’s move to Al Nassr saw his millions of followers flock with him, as the club’s Instagram followership received a monumental boost, growing from 860,000 to 10.7m as of Saturday, January 7, 2023.

More impressive is the fact that Ronaldo’s unveiling is said to have garnered more viewers than the 2022 FIFA QATAR World Cup final between France and Argentina.

According to Journalist Pedro Sepulveda, Cristiano Ronaldo’s unveiling ceremony at Al Nassr reached “3 billion views on 40 channels around the world”.

That figure would have surpassed on those same 40 channels the number of views of the Qatar World Cup final between France and Argentina, where eternal rival Lionel Messi’s La Albiceleste won the World Cup after a thrilling penalty shootout.
