According to a report by Sky Germany, Bayern Munich is likely to offload Sadio Mane this summer.
Speaking during the Sky90 show, reporter Florian Plettenberg revealed that the club is keen to part ways with the forward following an incident with Leroy Sané after a 3-0 loss at Manchester City, for which he was fined heavily.
According to reports, Thomas Tuchel reportedly has no plans with Mané, as he doesn’t fit his system.
Despite only joining Bayern last summer, Mane’s playing style was never going to be a straight swap for Robert Lewandowski, and with the club being well-equipped in the wide area, a move for the Senegalese could be the best option.

Plettenberg also revealed that Mané’s signing is considered a mistake, especially given his salary of over €20m/year. His disappointing performances have led to internal criticism, with some joking that Bayern signed his twin brother instead of the Liverpool forward.
“Signing Mané is considered a mistake, especially with his salary of more than €20m/year. Following his disappointing performances, there’s a joke doing the rounds at Säbener Straße that Bayern signed Mané’s twin brother, not the one from Liverpool.”
In addition, Mané was suspended for the TSG Hoffenheim match last weekend and received a fine of well over €300k, the highest fine a Bayern player has ever received.
While it may seem harsh, it’s clear that Mané isn’t suited to Bayern’s system, and the club may look to sell him this summer.
